About Mavis Computel
Mavis Computel Limited is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a private limited liability company with Certificate of Incorporation No. RC164922. The company was founded by Engr. Samuel Ucheaga and commenced operations in 2007.
Over time, the company has built from scratch its own messaging gateway for Bulk SMS and 2-way messaging (http://www.mavissms.com), and developed the Mavis Talking Books™ (an education solution that makes learning interactive and engaging in a language that the user understands and with audio-visuals with prepared by experts to help improve learning outcome).
We have also developed a new education model, tagged Mavis Education Programme (MEP). The MEP is an education model designed by Mavis Computel for using the Mavis Pen™ and Talking Books™ to provide high quality, group participatory learning for Out-of-school children (OOSC) in rural, semi-urban and urban settings at a very low cost – for about $2 – $8 per child per month (depending on the location and model deployed). We believe every child has the right to high quality education – no matter their status or location. For in more details on the MEP Centres, please contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you the Concept Note.

Resellership: We currently have over 12 resellers across Nigeria, USA and UK.
We are looking to get more resellers across Nigeria and in more countries like Canda, China, Italy, Germany, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Gambia, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Singapore, Ukraine, Hungary, Sweden, Australia and more. Our terms are friendly and it is very easy to get started. For details, email email@example.com
MEP Centre Franchise: Nigeria currently has over 10.5million out of school children. Our goal is to be able to reach at least 5 million of these children affordably using the MEP Centres to be setup across Nigeria before 2019. Setting up an MEP Centre is far cheaper (over 10x cheaper) than conventional methods. An MEP Centre that can cater to 320 children costs about $25,000. We will be happy to partner with people and organisations who are ready to to make this happen and to help provide literacy and numeracy programs nationwide. For more details, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Investment: We will be happy to get further investments to help us rapidly produce more Talking Books in more languages and for more grade levels to gain wider adoption locally and internationally and to setup MEP Centres faster. For details on the investment opportunities, please email email@example.com.
